I got bit by the M1A bug a couple of years ago when I wanted to get a rifle for long range shooting. There's none better than the Springfield M1-A1. I got the "loaded" stainless-steel version with match trigger and flash hider. I have a Leopold 6.5x20 50mm Mil-dot scope on top. If I do my job, .75" 3 shot groups are possible. Most recently, the EMP 1911 is the most marvelous carry pistol I've ever owned.
