Just went through some major upgrades on my machines, thanks to Fry's and their P4 2.4Ghz 533/MB Combo Specials!  These new ECS "inexpensive" motherboards are GREAT!  They are stable, fast and very easy to get up and running.

I can no longer recommend any board by MSI as my second MSI-694D motherboard died 5 months out of warranty.  The first one I owned died exactly ONE month out of warranty.  They apparently are not long life boards.  So they are off my list!

MSI-694D was my first Dual CPU board. It was fun to build, albeit a little frustrating at first.  I had two, but the newest one died, one month out of warranty.  The second one died 5 months out of warranty.  I've since been buying the ECS D6VAA which is essentially equivalent, with one less DIMM socket and 50% cheaper!  The ECS board runs GREAT and I now have three of them!  Unfortunately, they are no longer available anywhere.

My current motherboard in my main web server is the no-longer-available RIOWorks SDVIA-LS.

My other new gadget I've implemented on my RIOWorks motherboard is the GU370 Tualatin S370 Adapter from Stratton Computers.  Good service, good product.
